Voters will go to the polls on Monday October 3, 2022 to vote on the library’s budget and to elect three trustees for the Reed Memorial Library. Petitions for potential Library trustee candidates are available at the Library or by clicking here. Completed petitions must be submitted to the Library by 5 pm Friday September 2, 2022 in order for candidate names to appear on the ballot.
Trustee candidates must be registered voters and residents of the Reed Memorial Public Library District. The district is defined as the portion of the Town of Carmel which is not in the Mahopac School District. Trustees are elected to three year terms. Candidates are requested to supply short bios with their completed petitions.
