WATERCOLOR AND THE CREATIVE PROCESS

TUESDAYS 10 AM TO NOON

JAN 10, 17, 24, 31, FEB. 7 & 14

continuing the creative process study from the previous session, students will be using watercolor paints and their own creativity to further develop individual artistic methods to produce six unique final paintings.

TAKE A LINE FOR A WALK – DRAWING CLASS

THURSDAYS 10 AM TO NOON

JAN. 5, 12, 19, FEB. 2, 9 AND 16

Participants will create stylized line drawings inspired by such artists as Matisse, Warhol and Riley.  The class includes a guided tour of the Matisse drawing exhibition at the Katonah Museum of Art.

Artists’ Drop-In will provide camaraderie but not instruction.

IN-STITCHES KNITTING CLUB

BEADED EARRING WORKSHOP

Jewelry maker Joan Lloyd will teach participants how to make beautiful beaded earrings.  No experience is necessary.  Make as many pairs as you like, but for every pair you make for yourself, make a pair to donate to a local women’s shelter.  Registration is required.  Please call the library to register, 845-225-2439.

MEDICARE 101 TUESDAY OCTOBER 18 AT 6:30

This workshop will explain all of the ins and outs of Medicare.  Topics include:  How one qualifies, the different options available,  Part D prescription drug plans, secondary insurance, IBM benefits and Medicare Advantage.  This information is valuable to those entering Medicare as well as those who are already on Medicare.  Call the library to register, 845-225-2439.
