TUESDAYS JULY 11 THROUGH AUGUST 22, 6:30 TO 8 PM.

July like paint-by-numbers, create your own art using stickers?  Images for children and adults will be available.  Refreshments and fun for the whole family.  Walk-ins welcomed, registration suggested, 845-225-2439.

This fun, interactive children’s museum in Newtown Connecticut has been added to our Museum Pass Program.

It’s here! By popular demand Book Bingo! is now available for students in grades 5 and 6.

How does Book Bingo! work?  Pick up a Bingo card and read a variety of titles that fit descriptions on the card.  Write the title in the corresponding square and the date you finished the book.  Fill in an entire row for Bingo.  You will be awarded a ticket to the Carmel Cinema for each Bingo completed.  Stop into the library or click for Bingo card and  title suggestions.

Book Bingo! for grades 5-6 will run through April 30, 2017 or as long as movie ticket supplies last.

 

LIBRARY PROGRAM SPONSORS

The library was a busy place in 2016!  Science programs, art classes, history presentations, animal visits and music concerts were among the offerings, many sponsored by local businesses or individuals.  If you would like to sponsor a library program in 2017, please a take a look at the Sponsor Information Brochure .  Lots of great things are being planned for 2017!  Hope to see you there!

WATERCOLOR AND THE CREATIVE PROCESS

TUESDAYS 10 AM TO NOON

JAN 10, 17, 24, 31, FEB. 7 & 14

continuing the creative process study from the previous session, students will be using watercolor paints and their own creativity to further develop individual artistic methods to produce six unique final paintings.
