Voters will go to the polls on Monday October 1, 2018 to elect two new trustees for the Reed Memorial Library. Petitions for potential library trustee candidates are available at the library and must be completed and submitted to the library by 5 pm August 31, 2018 in order for candidate names to appear on the ballot.
Trustee candidates must be residents of the Reed Memorial Public Library District. The district is defined as the Town of Carmel which is not in the Mahopac School District. Trustees are elected to three year terms. Candidates are requested to supply short bios with their completed petitions.
