DRAWING INSPIRED BY NATURE

THURSDAYS 10 AM TO 12 NOON

OCTOBER 19 THROUGH DECEMBER 14

With pencil, colored pencil, pastel, and charcoal, participants will draw birds, animals, landscapes, and botanicals.

The focus will be on artistic composition, and exploring proportion, color, and value.

Connecticut Ghost Hunter Barry Pirro will share chilling stories form recent paranormal investigations, play recordings of real ghosts, and share ghosts hunting tips.  Audience members are invited to share their own ghostly tales.  Ages 12 and up.

Through art and artifacts meet the author, printer, political theorist, politician, Freemason, postmaster, scientist, inventor, civic activist, statesman, and diplomat you know as Benjamin Franklin!

Talk presented by Michael Norris of Armchair Art Tours.  Mike has spent twenty years at the Cloisters Museum and the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York and has lectured on trips all over the world.

SOUL PAINTING

Soul painting is a powerful intuitive creative practice.

Participants will use three colors of waterbase inks and three brushes as tools to unlock intuition and explore from within.

CHINESE WATERCOLOR BRUSH TECHNIQUES

BEGINNING PORTRAITURE AND STILL-LIFE DRAWING
