Submit a photo of your pet with a favorite book, newspaper or magazine, reading, being read to or just pondering what is on the page.

Photos can be submitted May 19 through June 1.  Voting will take place June 3 through June 16.

Jim Dale created over 250 different voices for the “Harry Potter” audiobooks, winning two Grammy Awards, a record ten Audie Awards (Oscars of the narrating world) and two Guinness World Records.  For his role in “Barnum” he won a Tony.

Marcus Lovett earned his place in theatre history by performing the lead in two Broadway shows (Phantom and Carousel) within a two day stretch.   He will be joined by his son, Dylan, a recent graduate of Carmel High School where he starred in numerous shows.

Providing excellent public service in a professional and reliable manner are required.  Applicants must have strong computer and communication skills and the abilitly to work a flexible schedule of 8 to 10 hours per week including some evenings and Saturdays.  Library experience and a college degree are preferred.
The salary for this position is $10/hour.

Moved to do something when the Town of Carmel cut the Library’s funding by $10,000 the teens have made a difference.

The Library sincerely appreciates the efforts of so many…Kevin Platt, Gabrielle Buck, Eli Kessman and his family who together organized the event and worked hard to make sure it was safe and fun and successful…the bands who rocked…the teens who attended…the volunteers who worked hard to take care of the hundreds of details large and small that go into a successful fundraiser…THANK YOU!
